It's Monday! What Are You Reading? #104

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is being hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.

This is a great weekly event where everyone can keep track of the books finished last week & the books planning to read this week!

What did I read last week?

I read Flat-Out Love by Jessica Park, which I enjoyed a lot (3.5 of 5 rating), as well as Flat-Out Matt, which had retold chapters from Matt's PoV, as well as 3 bonus chapters, and I absolutely loved it, because I loved Matt (5 of 5 rating)...

...I also read The Gathering by Kelley Armstrong, and it was a nice read that I enjoyed a lot (3.5 of 5 rating), I also read the new Julie James's book Love Irresistibly, a book that I loved of course (I've forgotten how good Julie's books are) and I also re-read one of my favs Howl's Moving Castle, and once again I totally loved it (5 of 5 rating).

What I'll be reading this week?

First I'll finish Patient Zero by Jonathan Maberry - I'm halfway through with it & I'm totally hooked. After that I'll probably continue reading The Collector - it's a nice read, and I have less then 100 pages to go, so hopefully I'll finsh it this week. I'm also hoping to read some of these books this week:

...it's time I finally read Diana Wynne Jones's Castle in the Air & House of Many Ways, and I'm also planning to re-read Before I Wake before I delve into the final Soul Screamers book With All My Soul.

So, what are you reading this week?

  5. I read The Collector this week. I think it's a fun read, and the last 100 pages should go by pretty fast. I hope you enjoy it when you're finished.

Also, I really need to get around to reading Rachel Vincent's series.

    My Monday Post! :)

  6. This is interesting. I loved Flat-Out Love more than Flat-Out Matt. Some parts from Flat-Out Matt were unnecessary IMO. I must read The Rising too. Huh this will be a busy week. :)

    1. Yeah, I just preferred Matt's PoV, and I loved him as a character, definitely more then Julie, she irritated me sometimes, so Flat-Out Matt was a nice bonus :D

      Thanks for stopping by!

  7. Hmmmm The Collector... I'm tempted by the bad-boy promise, but scared that it will be typical ya fail... I'll be waiting for your review. :)

    1. As I said, it's a nice read, but Dante is not really that big of a bad boy. Still need to get back to it & finish it :)

      Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Me, too :D I loved the anime, loved the book, Castle in the Air was great, too, although not as amazing as Howl's Moving Castle, but any glimpse of those guys & their world is awesome, and now I can't wait to read House of Many Ways :)
