Summary:

My Thoughts on the Book:

So, Marc Levy has done it again! All Those Things We Never Said is another amazingly crafted story that will take you on a journey through the present & the past, so I guess this makes it both contemporary & historical (it features a real historical event) with a touch of romance & fantasy. I guess compared to some of his other books, it's not as amazing, but it was really lovely & sweet, and in the end I still found myself that I've fallen in love with this book and it's wonderful messages, which always make Marc Levy such an amazing author. Yeah, I absolutely love his writing style, and his wonderful stories, and All Those Things We Never Said isn't an exception. This book will make you laugh (it was funny), will make you cry (it was sad), and will make you smile at it's sweetness & loveliness :) 

I don't want to talk about the story, because that's not possible without spoiling it, but if you enjoy unique stories with likable characters, that will keep you wrapped up in it wondering what will happen (or happened) next, then this is a story for you & I can't recommend it enough!

My Thoughts on the Book:

This was the first Marc Levy book I've read, long before I started blogging, and yeah I fell in love with it. Since then I've read it a few times, and I think this was my 4th time (although I might be wrong & it's the 5th). Anyway, I haven't re-read it until now since I've started blogging (and I've been blogging for two & a half years now) so yeah it's been probably at least 3 years since the last time I read this book.

And now after reading it again I have one word that I don't think I've ever thought about this book before: swoon-worthy! Yeah, I know :) I rarely swoon, but I swooned more then once on some of the things said between Lucas & Zofia. 

I fell in love with this book once more, and I was reminded why this book was one of my favs & why I've been recommending it a lot here (even borrowed my copy a few times to friends), and why I love Marc Levy's writing style, he just has that unique way with words, that's why I love his books so much! And although I knew that, and I remembered the story in this book (except for the swoon-worthy quotes) I still couldn't put it down & stop reading it. 

This book was once again intriguing, fun, sweet, sad (even heart-breaking - yeah, I got tears in my eyes) and romantic and funny and it will keep you on the edge of your sit with anticipation while cheering for both Lucas & Zofia. Also, it's one of those books that are worth re-reading because of those tiny details (or should I say clues) that you might have missed the first time, and that add charm to the story. 

I won't go into details about the story, although I really want to, but if I start I won't be able to stop myself writing about my favourite parts, which will have big spoilers, but the summary above (which I translated myself using my tiny knowledge of French from the original description, Google Translate & the description on the back of my own copy) tells the basic storyline, we follow alternatively both Lukas & Zofia, with a rare & short change to the secondary characters. Also, I think I have to mention that this isn't your standard adult paranormal romance, it's something quite different.  

So, although this book still haven't been translated in English, I know it has been translated in many other languages, so if you can get yourself a copy, do that right away, because I highly recommend this book!!!

Summary:

Arthur has had a long day. He returns to his new home in San Francisco, where packing boxes lie strewn across the living room floor. He musters the energy to clear them away. Satisfied, exhausted,he runs a bath, puts on the radio, and sinks back, surrendering himself to the dulcet tones of Peggy Lee…

Suddenly he hears fingers clicking to the beat of the music. He must be imagining it. Yet the sound continues, clear and distinct. He climbs out of the bath and follows the noise to a closet. He opens the door only to find a woman sitting there - clicking her fingers.

Arthur assumes that his business partner has set up some sort of practical joke. He asks the intruder to leave immediately so that he can get some sleep. The woman is stunned: not only is Arthur still naked, but more importantly, he can see her.

Arthur’s patience is running out: to get rid of this mad woman with her senseless ramblings, he agrees to take her to the hospital, where he hopes he can leave her in safe hands. Lauren takes Arthur to see her body, attached to the life-support machine. Arthur puts his arm around Lauren, trying to comfort her in her madness (obviously the body belongs to her twin sister…) It is only when a nurse walks in and asks Arthur if he has something wrong with his arm that he realizes for the first time that, strange as it may seem, Lauren really is invisible to everyone but him.

A couple unlike any other in a situation even they can’t believe…
This is a love story impossible to forget.

My thoughts on the book:

I loved it! Although I've loved every Marc Levy's book I've read (there's something about his style of writing that it appeals a lot to me), this is my number one favorite of his books so far! I really enjoyed it, it was really sweet & I liked the characters! I especially loved the part when Lauren talks to Arthur about "time" & if my copy was in english, I would've post the quote, but it's not! It was really enjoyable & I recommend it! 

The movie "Just Like Heaven" is based on this book!

My thoughts on the book:

I loved it! This is the second Marc Levy's book that I've read & I have to admit I enjoyed it a lot. There is something about his writing that I simply love. I loved the story & most of the time while I was reading it ,I had a smile plastered on my face. There were plenty of funny & sweet situations in it that made me smile. I'm definitely recommending this book. The original title should be translated "My Friends, My Loves" (that's the title on the copy I have, too) but on the authors site I just saw that the english title is "London Mon Amour", although it's not available in English.
