What did I read last week?

I just noticed I've had a re-read week ;) I finished re-reading Geek Girl, and I also re-read the prequel novella Reckoning, Halfway to the Grave, the novella Happily Never After, One Foot in the Grave & Playing with Fire. Once again I absolutely loved all of these.

What I'll be reading this week?

  

I'm a little over halfway through with The Enchanter Heir - the new Heir Chronicles book, so far I'm loving it, and I'm almost done with Wuthering Heights. Although I probably won't have a lot of time for reading this week, I'm planning to read At Grave's End - the 3rd book in the Night Huntress series, and the sequel to Playing with Fire - Twice as Hot.

What did I read last week?

  

Last week I finished 3 previously started books: Good Omens, The 5th Wave & Alif the Unseen. Once again I loved Good Omens, it's so funny & brilliant, The 5th Wave is great & entertaining read, and once again I thought that Alif the Unseen is great, too, although I might have loved it a tiny bit less than the first time. Also, I started & finished Bloodsucking Fiends, and I enjoyed it a lot, it was a fun read, and I'm definitely going to continue the series, as well as read more from Christopher Moore.

What did I read last week?

 

Last week I read only graphic novel: The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish written by Neil Gaiman & illustrated by Dave McKean, and I enjoyed it quite a lot, it was fun & I liked a lot the art, too :)

I also did start The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey, and I also returned to Alif the Unseen by G. Willow Wilson, and I also started re-reading Good Omens by Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett, and I also started reading Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. So, yeah, I did lots of hopping around books last week, and actually, that's what I'll be reading this week, too :) I'll continue reading all of these this week & hopefully I'll finish them all!

What did I read last week?

 

Ok, so despite having read 4 novels & 1 novella last week, I wouldn't say it was a great reading week for me. Why? Although these were all fast reads, I didn't really like When in Paris, as well as its follow-up novella Those Nights in Montreal, and The Accidental Demon Slayer, too, I rated them all with 2 of 5 rating. But, I did like a lot Spies & Prejudice, overall it was fun & interesting take on Pride & Prejudice (I rated it 3.5 of 5), but the only book that really stayed with me after I read it & I rated it with my top rating was A Monster Calls - really sad book, but with such a great & realistic message, so I recommend it to everyone!

 

What I'll be reading this week?

 

 

My only plan for this week is The 5th Wave, although of course I will probably read more than this one book.

What did I read last week?

 

Ok, so last week I finished The Gray Wolf Throne by Cinda Williams Chima & I also read The Crimson Crown also by Cinda Williams Chima, The Last Little Blue Envelope by Maureen Johnson, Underdogs - the omnibus of Markus Zusak's Wolfe Brothers trilogy, containing The Underdog, Fighting Ruben Wolfe & Getting the Girl, and I also read Fire by Kristin Cashore. I did start Bitterblue, too, but I didn't got around to finish it yet, and it's just not as good, so I decided to put it aside for now, but I'm definitely going to return to it later.

 

What I'll be reading this week?

 

 

This week I'm re-reading one of my fav debuts last year Alif the Unseen. I actually read this almost a year ago from a galley of the first edition, and now I'm reading it from my own paperback edition with the cover above. Isn't it lovely? I love it because it's perfect for the book :) I just started it, but I've been looking forward to reading this book again for quite some time now. After I finish it, I have no idea what I'll read next. Probably one of my galleys, since it's time to read some of them now. I did get approved for The Enchanter Heir by Cinda Williams Chima a few days ago, so although it's early for it, I might just jump right into it & read it now & just review it later or schedule the review for much later closer to the release date. I'll see, in the end as always it depends on my reading mood & my free time for reading!
