Once again, it's time for Dewey's 24-Hour Read-a-Thon.
As always, the read-a-thon for me starts at 2 pm on Saturday, and ends at 2 pm on Sunday.
And this will be my 15th time participating.
As
for my plans, I just hope to read as much as I can & as long as I
can, and to have fun. I have some snacks & sweets ready, and some books I want to read and reread. Anything goes, and lots to pick from: on phone, on Kindle, on shelf, paperbacks, hardbacks, eARCs, mangas, graphic novels, other illustrated works... As for everything else, I'll try to do a little bit of everything, but mostly focus on reading, especially because that's something that I haven't been doing lately...
Mid-Event Survey:
1. What are you reading right now?
- A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness
2. How many books have you read so far?
- Five books.
3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the read-a-thon?
- Beauty & the Beast: The Beast's Tale manga.
4. Have you had many interrruptions?
- Nope.
5. What surprises you most about the read-a-thon, so far?
- Nothing.
Wrap Up:
Even though I slept through most of the 2nd half of the read-a-thon, it was a successful read-a-thon. I read total of 6 books: 2 full-length, 1 graphic novel, 1 children's book, 2 manga, and a half of Patrick Ness's A Monster Calls, and I only did a couple of the memes\challenges.
The books I read are:
