Wicked Winter Read-a-Thon: Tease at Random Challenge!

As part of The Wicked Winter Read-a-Thon that's hosted by Rebecca @ Kindle Fever & April @ My Shelf Confessions, - ClaireProject TBR is hosting the Tease at Random Challenge!

I decided to use the book I just finished for the read-a-thon:

"The shining, swelling torrent streamed out through the open window and into Winter's streets - a Winter at once familiar and strange. The everyday buildings were like shadows beneath a glowing, pulsing web of magic - spells holding up the buildings, charms on the harbour wall, bewitchments to calm the sea in the harbour, to keep the castle walls firm, to hold the river in its banks." - page 123

"I looked around and gasped. The most beautiful frost flowers were creeping around the windows, starting from the corners of the windscreen and spreading, fern-like, across the glass." - page 223

"For a moment she hung, held there by the rough bark. Then she slipped to the ground, her head lolling, terrifyingly limp." - page 323
