Lunar Love Giveaway Hop!

Welcome to the
Lunar Love Giveaway Hop

This hop begins on the day of a full moon and features books with paranormal, supernatural, science fiction or space travel element or books that have something to do with the moon or have a moon on their cover.

For my giveaway, I decided to go with books that have a moon on the cover, so the winner can choose one of the books below, as long as these editions (with the moon on the covers) are still available from The Book Depository when the giveaway ends.

To enter, just fill out the rafflecopter below. You don't have to be a follower to enter, anyone can enter, as long as The Book Depository ships to your country (you can check HERE).

  12. Okay that's a pretty difficult question! I have one that I would like to nominate for my each favorite genre (paranormal, fantasy, dystopian/science fiction/post-apocalyptic) but if I have to pick only one... that, perhaps, would be... (err can I pick 2??) Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness! I guess you must have heard about the hype... or perhaps you've read it already? But the book is excellent, undeniably fascinating with a touch of awesomeness. The characters are very much alive - one thing that I like the most from this book. Not a light read, but definitely not as heavy as American Gods. And yes American Gods by Neil Gaiman! That's one fine recommended book ever!

  103. I know you didn't but this task is somehow perfect. *g* I'm doing a Commentathon and wanted to leave at least one comment here anyway, so.. *grin*

I read quite a few excellent books this year so far, which really surprised me. Comfort Food by Kitty Thomas, a very dark, edgy, psychological erotica novel was probably one of the most impressive ones. I'm not a Erotica reader, but that one.. Holy cow. I also read and loved The Windflower, apparently it's an Old-Skool-ish Historical Romance novel (lacking all the forced seduction/rape stuff, yay!) but those two probably left such an impression, because I usually don't read much of either genre.

I also read A Perfect Blood by Kim Harrison, Fair Game by Patricia Briggs, Archangel by Sharon Shinn, Somebody to Love by Kristan Higgins, Here Comes the Groom by Karina Bliss, Hidden by Kelley Armstrong, and The Lost Duke of Wyndham by Julia Quinn.

Damn. So much for the one best book so far. XD I couldn't help myself. XD XD
