Today's theme is the one I always have trouble with, mainly because I rarely have a crush on book characters! So, as always, my list will be filled with guys I loved as characters, and that I loved them together as a couple a.k.a those that are one half of my fav couples this year. As always, this must be only from books both read in 2014 & released in 2014. This has been a great year for that, lots of amazing couples I totally adored, so it might just be over 10 this time ;)

Best Book Boyfriends of 2014:

~ Kai, Wolf & Thorne from Marissa Meyer's Cress

~ Anthony Lockwood from Jonathan Stroud's The Whispering Skull

~ Bones from Jeaniene Frost's Up From the Grave

~ Thane from Gena Showalter's Burning Dawn

~ Torin from Gena Showalter's The Darkest Touch

~ Sam Brody from Jill Shalvis's It's in His Kiss

~ Angel Whittaker from Susan Mallery's When We Met

~ Levi from Elizabeth Eulberg's Better Off Friends

~ Josh from Stephanie Perkins' Isla and the Happily Ever After

~ Tristan from Danielle L. Jensen's Stolen Songbird

~ Matthew Clairmont from Deborah Harkness's The Book of Life

~ Giles Rutherford from Theresa Romain's Season for Desire

~ Chaz Browning from Leslie Kelly's Oh, Naughty Night!

Yes, I ended up with over 10 ;) I adore all of these characters. So amazing, for different reasons, and perfect for the ones they fall for :) I only feel weird about putting Anthony Lockwood, mostly because I feel like a perve lol But, he's so amazing, and ever since I met him in the 1st book, I love him as a character, and kept thinking, wow he'll be a heartbreaker when he grows up, and I would totally have a crush on him! ^_^ If I was in Lucy's place, I would totally jump him - ok, actually, I would only totally kiss him senseless, because they're still so young. But, I have hopes that as the series progresses & they get older, we'll get some romance, hopefully between Lucy & Anthony :) Then again, I'm really not in a hurry, I can wait for a long time, as long as there are many books in the series, because I don't want it to end.

And what about you?

    1. I had such a crush on him in Scarlet, so I had to list him, too. ;) And now in Cress I finally see the appeal of Kai, so yes, all three for me, I just love them as characters :D

    1. I don't know. I had such huge crushes on both Etienne & Cricket, and it's been years since I read those 2 books, so I can't quite choose. I didn't crush on Josh, though he is quite amazing, I loved him as a character, and I wonder if I reread the 2 books now, I will have a crush on them again. Probably not. I guess I've gotten too old for teenage boys, then again, I rarely have a crush ;) But, in the end, all of the 3 guys are quite amazing ^_^

      Thanks for stopping by, Missie.

  5. I included Josh. Really loved Levi from Better Off Friends. I of course love Bones but didn't read the new book this year. I'm two books behind on his series.

    1. Yay for Josh & Levi :) As for the last 2 Night Huntress books, the series isn't what it once was, to be honest. I'd say, read the first 4 books, and stop. I'll always love Cat & Bones, and the last book was better than the previous 2, but I pretend that the last 3rd of book didn't happen, because there was a part of it that sucked, and I get annoyed with it every time I think about it, so I pretend it doesn't exist LOL Weird, I know ;)

      Thanks for stopping by, Jen!
