Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Authors I've Only Read One Book From But NEED to Read More!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created & hosted @ The Broke and the Bookish.
For more info about it, check out the post HERE.

So, My Top Ten Authors I've Only Read One Book From But NEED to Read More are:

#1 - John Corey Whaley

I loved his YA contemporary Where Things Come Back when I read it a few years ago, so I've been waiting for his next book, and it finally came out this year, so I need to get Noggin & read it!

#2 - Joe Abercrombie

I know, what I've been waiting for? I finally tried him a few months ago, I got an eARC from Half a King, absolutely loved it, and if this book was any indication about his adult fantasy, I can only imagine how awesome they are! So, yes, I need to read more by Joe Abercrombie, and soon.  (If only I had the time...)

#3 - Pamela Freeman

I've read only her Ember & Ash novel a few years ago, but it was an awesome epic fantasy, and I need to read more by her.

#4 - Anne Elisabeth Stengl

Another fantasy, but what can I do, I love fantasy ;) though these are more fairytale-like than epic fantasy. I loved her Heartless book, and even though I've gotten most of her other books, I still haven't gotten around to them. I think it's my fault, because I've wanted to reread Heartless first, and I haven't found the time...

#5 - Patrick Rothfuss

I read The Name of the Wind years ago, and I need to read more, but still haven't. I blame it on the chunky size of the books, especially The Wise Man's Fear, and I need to reread the 1st one, so yes, I still haven't, even though I've wanted to. I might just wait the final book to be out, so I'll go on a Kingkiller Chronicle binge ;)

#6 - Ernest Cline

Because my most fav book is Ready Player One, of course I want to read anything else Ernest Cline writes. I'm really looking forward to Armada next year, and hopefully it won't get postponed again.

#7 - Kate Kae Myers

Kate Kae Myers is another author I discovered through NetGalley, and I've been waiting for her next book since then, and Inherit Midnight should be published (finally) in 2015, as long as it doesn't get postponed again, and it sounds awesome...

#8 - Andrew Buckley

I loved his book Stiltskin, and I need to read so much more!

#9 - Lou Anders

So, his debut Frostborn was published only a month ago, but it was amazing, and I was left eager for more (and there wasn't a cliffhanger), but I need to see what else Lou Anders has imagined for his worlds & characters.

#10 - Isaac Marion

Warm Bodies is one of my fav books, and even though I'm reluctant about reading a sequel (I was happy if it stayed that way), at the same time, I want to read more, no matter if it's set in that world, or anything new Isaac Marion imagines.

What about you?

  1. Isaac made my list too! I liked Warm Bodies as a standalone too, but hearing that he's writing a sequel makes me want to read it asap!

  4. I haven't read a single one of these authors, but I really want to read something from Patrick Rothfuss, Kate Kae Myers & Isaac Marion. The rest of them, I've to check out as well. Great list, and thanks for stopping by my TTT earlier. :)

  5. I actually haven't read any of these - but Patrick Rothfuss is literally the number one thing on my TBR right now. It goes against the very laws of nature that I haven't read The Name of the Wind yet!
