It's Monday! What are you reading? #20

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is being hosted by Sheila at One Persons Journey through a World of Books.

This is a great weekly event where everyone can keep track of the books finished last week & the books planning to read this week!

Last week I've finished:
  • Led Astray by a Rake by Sara Bennett (historical romance - 1st book in the Husband Hunters Club series - I liked it)
  • A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin (fantasy - 1st book in the Earthsea Cycle - I liked it a lot)
I also started & finished the following books:
  • Nightmare Academy by Dean Lorey (a.k.a. Charlie's Monsters a.k.a. Monster Hunters - fantasy - 1st book in the Nightmare Academy series - I loved it)
  • A Most Sinful Proposal by Sara Bennett (historical romance - 2nd book in the Husband Hunters Club series - I liked it a lot)
  • The Rake by Suzanne Enoch (historical romance - 1st book in the Lessons in Love series - I loved it)
  • The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams (sci-fi comedy - 1st book in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series - I liked it a lot)
  • England's Perfect Hero by Suzanne Enoch (historical romance - 3rd book in the Lessons in Love series - I loved it)
  • London's Perfect Scoundrel by Suzanne Enoch (historical romance - 2nd book in the Lessons in Love series - I liked it a lot)
  • Ten Things I Love About You by Julia Quinn (historical romance - 3rd book in the Bevelstoke series - I loved it)

This week I'll probably finish Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins, 24 Hours by Greg Iles & The Mysteries of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle! I'm going on a trip this week, so I'm planning to take 2 bigger books with me & those books are A Thousand Sons by Graham McNeill & LoTR: The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien! I think it's time to read the Lord of the Rings series!

So, what are you reading this week?
Tell us now here!

  8. Ooooh...The Wizard of Earthsea! I've had that one on my shelf for awhile. I am going to read it this year for my fantasy reading challenge. You've been doing a lot of great reading AND you've got some good stuff coming up.

    Happy reading!

  9. I started The Wizard of Earthsea a few weeks ago but got distracted halfway through and never got back to it. I'll have to try to finish it.
Is this your first time reading Hitchhickers? I love those books, though each one is crazier then the last. And the final one is really mindbending. Jasper Fforde's books writing style also reminds of Douglas Adams, so if you haven't yet you might want to try his books as well.

  10. I got distracted with The Wizard of Earthsea, too so I left it for a while & than I returned to it & finished it, but I've done that with other books, too! As for Hitchhiker's Guide, yeah it's the first time, I have them all since forever, but never read them, so I finally decided to start them & they're hilarious! I've already added Jasper Fforde's books on my reading list from reading on your blog how much you liked them, but now I think I'll try them sooner ;)
