The Spring into Horror Read-a-Thon was hosted by Michelle @ Castle Macabre!
Ok, so I'm ending this read-a-thon earlier, I think I over-read myself ;)I read a lot, a total of 2421 pages, but I didn't do any of the mini challenges.
I guess after my reading slump just over a week ago (which I got over just in time for both Dewey's Read-a-Thon & this read-a-thon), I went crazy & I read every second of my free time this week ;) I brought a book everywhere ;)So, I finished the 2 previous started books:
...Touched by an Alien by Gini Koch (read 88 pages - liked it a lot) & Hollyweird by Terri Clark (read 119 pages, also liked it a lot). I also read the following books:
...Tales of Terror from the Black Ship by Chris Priestley (259 pages - loved it) & Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake (316 pages - also loved it & the best read of the week & the read-a-thon)...
...Croak by Gina Damico (311 pages - liked it a lot) & Tales of Terror from the Tunnel's Mouth by Chris Priestley (277 pages - loved it)...
...Uncle Montague's Tales of Terror by Chris Priestley (243 pages - this was a re-read & once again I loved it) & Ripper by Amy Carol Reeves (340 pages - this one was the only one I didn't like)...
...Paint It Black by P. J. Parrish (355 pages - really good thriller)...
...and the last The Teacher's Tales of Terror by Chris Priestley (55 pages - liked it a lot) & Traction City by Philip Reeve (58 pages - also I liked a lot) and both of these were re-reads for me!So, that's it! I haven't reviewed anything, but hopefully I'll do that this week. How did you do?One big THANK YOU to Michelle for hosting the read-a-thon!
Lol, you totally over read yourself. Congrats! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat books by the way, I have been pining after Croak since it came out! I
Holy reading, Batman! I feel like a hundred page weakling compared to you! ;) I'm so glad I finally read Anna Dressed in Blood, and I definitely need to pick up the rest of Chris Priestley's books!
ReplyDeleteWow! You really did kick butt. Great job! I'm sorry you're a bit burnt out, but I hope you still enjoyed it. I look forward to you joining me this summer!
ReplyDeleteYou read ALOT. I don't even know how you did that. But I see why you didn't have time to do my challenges. Glad you left me a final comment in my wrap-up, so I could meet you! :)
