Ok, so the first thing I thought about when I saw this week's theme was Dexter, but in the end I decided not to put any of those covers because I couldn't decide which to choose :)

 

So, My Favorite 5 Bloody Book Covers are:

1) The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman

Yeah, I'm talking about this limited adult edition from Subterranean Press - I wish I owned it (I have the blue one which is also great) but this one is amazing & so perfect for the story, so one of my all-time favourite covers!

2) Hater by David Moody

I love covers with blood spatter & bloody writing :) I blame it on Dexter ;)

3) Anna Dressed in Blood & Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake

I absolutely love both of these covers, so I had to add them both as one ;) Nekro is an amazing artist!

4) Alien in the Family by Gini Koch

Maybe you won't notice the blood at first, but I absolutely love this cover because of it, (actually I love all the covers in the series - Daniel dos Santos is also one amazing artist) I think that the blood splatter on Kitty's dress is amazing detail & only adds to the bad-ass look of the cover! 

5) Allison Hewitt is Trapped by Madeleine Roux

As you can see from my list, I'm not a fan of the bloody vampire covers, but I love covers with bloody writing :)
