It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is being hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.
This
is a great weekly event where everyone can keep track of the
books finished last week & the books planning to read this
week!
What did I read last week?
First I finished re-reading the first book in D. J. MacHale's Morpheus Road trilogy - The Light & I also read Heartless by Anne Elisabeth Stengl, which was lovely fairy-tale-like fantasy. For the rest of the week I've been reading Eona by Alison Goodman.
What I'll be reading this week?
At the moment I'm still reading Eona by Alison Goodman. I love this book & I'll finish it soon,
I have only a little over 100 pages left. I'm finally in a mood for epic fantasy, so after I finish Eona, I'll probably continue reading Besieged by Rowena Cory Daniells.
So, what are you reading this week? Leave me your links!
Nice. I just reviewed the ebook novella addition to Daneills' King Rolen's Kin trilogy, but I haven't read The Outcast Chronicles yet (despite having a signed paperback of Besieged sitting on my shelf!)

My copy is signed, too, and I've been feeling guilty for putting it aside so far, although what I've read so far I enjoyed a lot, but with all the reading slumps I had, I haven't been in a mood...
DeleteThanks for visiting me!
I loved Eon but haven't read Eona yet (though I do own a copy!). I had hoped to get to it this year but I don't think I will. I'm glad you are enjoying it. I love fantasy novels. Next year I am planning to reread The Lord of the Rings and to continue reading the Song of Ice and Fire saga. So far I've only read A Game of Thrones.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Eona is great, too, you have to read it :) Actually both Eon & Eona will probably be on my 2012 best reads list :)
DeleteI'm hoping to re-read The Hobbit soon, and some other epic fantasy series, like Peter V. Brett's Demon Cycle & Cinda Williams Chima's Seven Realms, but I still haven't tried G.R.R.Martin's series, although I've wanted to for years now...
Happy reading & thanks for visiting!
The girl on the cover of Besieged reminds me of Daenerys off the Game of Thrones tv series ... awesome!! Have you seen it?
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and happy reading :)
Yeah, I've noticed that, too :) and I love the tv series :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by :)
I'd love to read Eona and Beguiled too! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteHere's what I'm reading
I haven't read any of these, but Heartless looks intriguing. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteEon and Eona are both on my reading list! I love the covers, and the premise seems so thrilling. Have a great week :-)
