It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is being hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.
This
is a great weekly event where everyone can keep track of the
books finished last week & the books planning to read this
week!
What did I read last week?
I was in a reading slump, so although I did a little reading here & there (only around 20 pages a day lately), I got a feeling that maybe it's time I re-read the Harry Potter series, something I've been planning to do since last year, when the last movie came out, so I finally started re-reading them, and thanks to them, my reading slump is over (I can't say the same for my reviewing slump, but hopefully that won't last much longer).
So, this week I read Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone & Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J. K. Rowling, then Within Reach by Sarah Mayberry, and Victoria Alexander's What Happens At Christmas.
What I'll be reading this week?
At the moment I'm re-reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. After that I'll probably continue with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
I'm participating in a Beautiful Creatures Read-Along, so I'll continue reading it this week, and I'll try to squeeze it inbetween Michelle Rowen's Dark Kiss.
So, what are you reading this week? Leave me your links!
I hate to admit that I still have not read the Harry Potter series. I definitely need to set aside the time for them. Have a great week!

I like the cover art to the Harry Potter books. My favorite book this week was the audio of Life As We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer. Please come see what I'm reading now.

Yeah, they are wowzas, although they're not actually new, these are the UK adult editions, but the newer ones made me go wow, too :)
DeleteThanks, have a great week, too, and thanks for visiting!
I really like those covers for the Harry Potter books, much more than the original ones. Hope you have a good reading week!
ReplyDeleteHere's My Monday
Yeah, I'm not a fan of the original ones, both the UK & US covers, but these and the new editions from last year are gorgeous :)
DeleteThanks for visiting!
I would like to reread the Harry Potter series - but am thinking of listening to them. I hear the narrator is amazing.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
~Kristin @ Always With a Book
Yeah, I actually listened to the audio book of the Philosopher's Stone in July, the one read by Stephen Fry (I've heard the US ones are amazing, too) and I absolutely loved it, but for me there's nothing like reading it for myself :) but I agree, the audio books are great addition for the fans of the series, so if you love audio books, you should listen to them :) I'll probably listen to the rest of them some time :D
DeleteThanks for visiting!
I still need to read the Harry Potter books. Every year I promise myself that this will be the year I'll finally get to them but it never happens!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading :)
I've done that with a few other series - every year I'm saying: I'll read them this year! - but I never do :( I just keep postponing & postponing...
DeleteI do hope you'll read them, HP is a must-read :)
