WoW #179: Winter by Marissa Meyer + WWW #89!

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
(The Lunar Chronicles #4)
Marissa Meyer

Publication date:
November 10th, 2015

Princess Winter is admired by the Lunar people for her grace and kindness, and despite the scars that mar her face, her beauty is said to be even more breathtaking than that of her stepmother, Queen Levana.

Winter despises her stepmother, and knows Levana won’t approve of her feelings for her childhood friend–the handsome palace guard, Jacin. But Winter isn’t as weak as Levana believes her to be and she’s been undermining her stepmother’s wishes for years. Together with the cyborg mechanic, Cinder, and her allies, Winter might even have the power to launch a revolution and win a war that’s been raging for far too long.
Can Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, and Winter defeat Levana and find their happily ever afters?
No explanation necessary, right? Because if you've read the series, you want this book, too! I hadn't actually read Fairest yet, but I will before I jump into this one. I might even re-read the complete series, too!

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?
This weekly meme is hosted by Taking on a World of Words!

What am I currently reading?

I loved all the previous books in the Copper Ridge series, so I just started this new novella, and of course I like it so far.

What did I recently finish reading?

I thoroughly enjoyed this prequel novella & beginning of Theresa Romain's new historical series!

What do I think I'll read next?

My next read will probably be Fey. Another shorter read & another review book, but I really enjoyed the couple works by the author that I've read so far, so I'm looking forward to see her first step into the fantasy genre.

What about you?
What are you waiting &/0r reading this week?
Leave me your WoW &/or WWW links!

  1. OH. Can I read this book as a standalone? Or do I need to read it in chronological order?

    1. No, definitely not. This is the final book, and they're all connected & complete one whole story. But, you can always start with the first book Cinder.

      Thanks for stopping by!

  2. YAY! Not long of a wait now!! Winter is coming!! Heehee! Get a kick out of saying that! LOL!

    Here's my WoW

  3. I hope you enjoy Fey as much as you've enjoyed the author's other works. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!
