Books, Brains 'n Blood Read-a-Thon: Start + Goals + Reading List + Updates + Wrap Up!

The Books, Brains 'n Blood Read-a-Thon is hosted by April & Pabkins @ My Shelf Confessions, as part of their Vamps vs Zombies event.

To check out this event & to sign up for the read-a-thon, visit this post HERE!

My goals are to read at least 2 books & to participate in at least one mini challenge, and hopefully to participate in the Twitter Party, too.

My Reading List:

Even though we can read whatever we want, I decided to read vamp & zombie books. But, half of these are funny (from what I've heard/read about them), and I'm feeling in mood for books like this at the moment, let's hope my mood won't change ;)

I'll also update this post with my reading progress!

Update:

Ok, so I reached my goals :) I read 2 books, one with vampires - Bloodsucking Fiends - and one with zombies - Alice in Zombieland. Both were so much fun :) I also participated in 3 of the mini challenges, and I made it to the last half hour of the Twitter Party on Saturday. Hopefully, I'll finish another zombie book before the end of this read-a-thon - Allison Hewitt is Trapped - so far I'm loving it, and I have around 200 pages to go.

Wrap Up:

Ok, so as I already said, I completed all of my goals. In the end I read 3 books - two with zombies: Allison Hewitt is Trapped & Alice in Zombieland, and one vamp book: Bloodsucking Fiends.

I'd like to thank April & Tabitha for hosting this read-a-thon, it was fun, as well as hosting their awesome Vamps vs. Zombies event, so THANK YOU!

    1. Thanks :) It's time to finally read AH is Trapped, it's been sitting on my shelf for some 2+ years now :) And yeah, I started Bloodsucking Fiends today, and it's really fun :)

  2. Vampires and zombies... good genre! They seem to be the prima donna's of the horror genre. I prefer psychopaths, mysterious antagonists, mad scientists, and strange situations, but these should be quite enjoyable. These do seem to be satirical, but hope you enjoy! :)

    1. I love those, too, but I read almost anything :) although I'm not that big of a fan of vampires, and I prefer zombies from these two, I love humorous vampire books :)

      Thanks, Josh!
