What's Next? #29

What's Next? is a weekly meme hosted by IceyBooks.

Every Thursday, select 3-5 books (not too many, not too little!) that you want to read but can't decide which one to read first.
Post the cover, and if you want, the synopsis or even a random line from the book, for each of your selections.
At the end of your post, ask readers to vote on which one you should read next!

Even if you don't end up reading your readers' top choice, you'll know what the majority is excited for.

Ok, so this time I'll keep it simple, a choice between 2 series:

Seven Realms or Seven Kingdoms

I actually read the first 2 Seven Realms books almost 3 years ago, the same is with the 1st Seven Kingdoms book, so it's time to finish them both :) But, which to finish first?

Seven Realms by Cinda Williams Chima

Since it's been so long, I'm definitely going to re-read The Demon King & The Exiled Queen, because the story continues, and I can't wait to delve into that world again & see how it ends!

Enter the world of the Seven Realms...

Packed with romance, action, intrigue, and adventure, The Demon King, The Exiled Queen, The Gray Wolf Throne, and The Crimson Crown are epic fantasy at its very best.

Seven Kingdoms by Kristin Cashore

I haven't decided if I'll re-read Graceling, because they can be read as stand alone, but I'm definitely going to read Fire & Bitterblue.

Three powerful women. Three books that transcend the fantasy genre.

Enter the Seven Kingdoms with these three stunning novels by Kristin Cashore: Graceling, Fire, and Bitterblue. Discover the romance and adventure of the Seven Kingdoms and beyond.

So, what do you think, which one of these should I devour next?

Leave me a comment & help me decide!

  1. Seven Realms - will be starting The Crimson Crown today! I really didn't enjoy Graceling on the other hand.

  2. I think SEVEN REALMS looks really good, and I think you should read it because you have already read the first 2. Will this be the last in the series?

I'll be honest Ive yet to read SEVEN KINGDOMS. Ppl tell me I should, but I was worried they were too fantasy heavy. I am more of a Fantasy-lite type of gal :)

Have fun! Cant wait to see what you think..

    1. Yeah, The Crimson Crown is the last one :D And yeah, and the series is so, so great!

As for Graceling, the 1st 7 Kingdoms, I wouldn't say it's too fantasy-heavy, it's more fantasy-romance, and I actually prefer when there's more adventure in epic fantasy.

Thanks for stopping by & voting :)
