Top Ten Tuedsay: Books I Feel As Though Everyone Has Read But Me!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists.
Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

My Top Ten Books I Feel As Though Everyone Has Read But Me:

When I saw this week theme, I decided not to include any of the classics, but only books that I've seen over and over around the blogosphere, but for one reason or another, I haven't read them!

1. This is one of the series which I plan to get & read at some point, but still haven't!
2. This one is also one of the books that seems like everyone have read & loved, so it's on my must-read list!
3. This one was one of the books that I really wanted to read before it was published, but when it was finally out, I just didn't buy it, I kept postponing it & I kinda lost the anticipation, but I definitely plan to get & read the series! Maybe I'll just wait for the final book & than read the series.

4. Yeah, Twilight! I have to add it on my list, 'cause apparently almost everyone have read the series or at least this book, but I didn't! I also can say most definitely that I won't ever read it.

5. I haven't read this one & I don't know if I will! I just have a feeling that I won't be too crazy about it & I've learned that when I have that feeling about a book that everyone loved, that feeling is right. I do want to read Forget You, though.

6. This one has been on my wishlist before it was published, because it sounded so good & apparently it is. From the Ten Top Tuesday a couple of weeks ago (about the 2012 sequels) it seemed that almost everyone have read it & can't wait for the sequel, so, yeah, this one is on my must-read list!

7. This one has been on my reading list for a long time, but still haven't gotten around to it, but I definitely will.

8. Both of these are on my tbr list & I'll probably get to them at some point!

9. I haven't decided if I'll read this one, but I think there is a possibility that I'll try it in the future!

10. I know that these are also really loved series & although I think that I might give it a try to Shiver, I still haven't decided about Nightshade.

Ok, so I ended up with more than 10, although I had a lot more. So, tell me what do you think? Have you read any of these books & should I read them or not?

  1. I definitely recommend reading VA and Anna. I absolutely love both of them. [: I too haven't read either of Oliver's book but hopefully I will get to them at some point. And I really want to get my hands on Divergent as well! [:

  3. I have read some on your list and enjoyed quite a lot. Such as Anna and The Iron King. I also enjoyed Shiver, Fallen and Delirium but the first two were definitely better.

  6. The more Top Tens that I visit this week the more books that I am reminded of missing. This is such a great topic. It isn't realistic to think that I will get to the end of my past publication list since there are great reads coming out all the time, but I wish that I could read all of them.

  7. I totally think you should read VA and Anna! Those are some of my favourite recent books though so I'm slightly biased. Shiver and Nightshade are two that I've seen around, but I'm just not terribly excited about sadly. Divergent though -if you like big ideas and a lot of action, you'll probably enjoy it. I did!

Thank you for stopping by earlier!

  8. You're on! Which three do you think you'll read? I'll read them, too, if they are on my list - which most of them are :)

  9. @Manga Maniac: Divergent, definitely! The other 2 I'll choose from The Iron King, Vampire Academy, Anna & the French Kiss & Halfway to the Grave! It will all depend on my mood ;)
But, now that I think about it, I think I'll try to read all five before 2012 ;)

  10. I hope you will enjoy Divergent and the Vampire Academy series. I also love Lauren Oliver's books. If you had asked me last year, I would have said that Nightshade was fantastic but my tastes have changed and this year I didn't bother with the sequel. I liked Shiver but the rest of the series wasn't quite as good. Great list!

  11. 'Going Too Far' is my favourite Jennifer Echols. I'm not her biggest fan, but of any of her books? I really liked that one.

'Divergent' and 'Anna' are just fabulous -- some of my favourites. And the 'Vampire Academy' books are amazing as well.

  13. I have quite a few of these on my TBR list...I've read Twilight, and The Iron King (so, so good, I really recommend it) but otherwise, none of the others.
