Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists. Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.
So, My Top Ten Authors On My Auto-Buy List are:
#1 - Neil Gaiman - no surprise for my 1st choice ;) I'd buy & read anything he writes, he's so brilliant!
#2 - Markus Zusak - Why? Because both The Book Thief & I Am the Messenger are some of the BEST books I've read EVER!
#3 - John Green - ok, I've read only Looking for Alaska & Let It Snow so far, but I'm already in love with his writing style, and I'm planning to finally read every one of his books soon, and I'm definitely buying everything he writes in the future, too :)
#4 - D. J. MacHale - another of my fav authors, he's such an amazing storyteller!
#5 - Carlos Ruiz Zafon - I already own all of his books, I've read 4 of them so far, and I'm planning to read the other 3 soon, so of course his on my auto-buy list ;)
#6 - Marc Levy - I fell in love with his writing style when I first read 7 Days for an Eternity years ago, and I've been reading every book of his I could get my hands on since then. He's a French author, so that haven't been easy, because my French isn't good enough, so I had to wait for them to be translated here, or in Serbia or Croatia, but those that I've read, had only confirmed him as one of my fav authors!
#7 - Cinda Williams Chima - she's such an amazing YA fantasy author, so I've been eagerly expecting every one of her next books for years now, so yeah, she's on my auto-buy list.
#8 - Laura Bickle - because she's such a great author, and I love her books. I own 4 of her 5 books, still need to get Sparks, and yeah, I'm dying for her next one :)
#9 - Gena Showalter - there's just something about Gena's writing that it's addictive, and her books are always fun :) Compared to the other authors on this list, I guess I've read most books from her, but even those 10+ books I've read are maybe only a 3rd from her written books, and yeah, I'm looking forward to her new books, as well as her old ones, that's why she's on my auto-buy list, and she's probably my most fav paranormal romance author.
#10 - Julie James - she's probably my most fav adult contemporary romance author, I love her books, they're so much fun, and she's been on my auto-buy list for a few years now :)
What about you?
Leave me your TTT links!
