What's Next? is a weekly meme hosted by IceyBooks.
Every Thursday, select 3-5 books (not too many, not too little!) that you want to read but can't decide which one to read first, so the readers can vote on which one you should read next.
To participate, go HERE!
My picks this week are:
~ Up From the Grave (Night Huntress #7) by Jeaniene Frost
Cat & Bones's finale. I've been postponing reading this, because I don't want for it to be over, but it's time to read it!
~ The Book of Life (All Souls #3) by Deborah Harkness
The highly anticipated finale to the #1 New York Times bestselling trilogy that began with A Discovery of Witches. I have the eARC, and even though I had mixed feelings about Shadow of Night, I'm hoping this will be great finale, the kind the trilogy deserves.
~ Allegiant (Divergent #3) by Veronica Roth
I don't have high hopes for this one. I'm only going to read it because it's the last book, and since I already suffered through Insurgent, what's one more book, right?
This is a really interesting meme! I haven't started Night Huntress and All Souls series yet, but they're somewhere on my tbr :P. I feel the same way about Allegiant as you do, so that's probably why I haven't read it yet. Insurgent made me roll my eyes a bit too much.
ReplyDeleteI vote for Up From the Grave. I know how you feel, I recently finished Timeless, the last book in Parasol Protectorate series and I didn't want it to end..I was book hungover for days.
Okay, I just saw you posted this a week ago and you already finished Up From the Grave. Nevermind :) enjoy your books!
Yeah, it is a fun meme. I used to do it often, but haven't done it in a long time, and when I finally did, no one stopped by to vote :( So, I picked for myself ;) And even a vote too late is appreciated ^_^
DeleteAnd yes, saying goodbye is so hard... I read Timeless last year (after postponing it for a year), and absolutely adored it. Can't wait for Prudence! So excited about it.
I also read the final All Souls, and loved it. I adored that cast almost as much as the Parasol Protectorate cast, though those will always be my #1! Gail Carriger rocks!
Anyway, thanks for stopping by!
