This week's theme: Fiction Vs. Nonfiction!

I prefer fiction, so I rarely read nonfiction.
Why? Because when I read I love getting wrapped up in the world &/or story the author has created, no matter the genre (I read everything that's fiction), so if or/& when I read nonfiction, the book doesn't capture my attention that much, although the reason for that might be that I'm not really interested in reading nonfiction ;) I usually give up on nonfiction books if I start them.
The only nonfiction book that have blowed me away was The Monster of Florence by Douglas Preston & Mario Spezi - although a real story, it felt like a really good thriller & the fact that it really happened, I still can't believe it, so I'd recommend that one, but for me it's fiction all the way!!!

  1. I used to read True Crime books by Ann Rule, but found that because they were real things that happened, I had a hard time letting the awful things go. So now, fiction only!

Yeah, whatever happen in fiction - even when it's really gruesome, you can always tell yourself "It's only fiction!". ;) I know I do!
