Dewey's 24-Hour Read-a-Thon!

Once again it's time for Dewey's 24-Hour Read-a-Thon!

Although I planned to read the whole 24 hours, something came up, so all day Saturday I won't be home & although I'll bring a book with me & try to read a little, I probably won't be able to read a lot, but the good thing is that for me the read-a-thon starts at 2 PM, so I'll have the night for reading & until 2 PM on Sunday, so that's good :) I'm actually writing this on Friday & scheduling it to be posted at the start of the read-a-thon ;)

This will be the 5th time I'm participating & this time I decided just to have fun (it's actually always fun) & not to set any goals. I don't have even books lined up - I'll just pick one, I might even go with one big book this time ;) Also, this time I'll only count the pages I've read, not the time I've spent reading.

  1. Fun is always a great plan for readathon! Just dropping off a quick cheer :D *\o/*

  2. I agree with Maree. There's no better way to shine during this read-a-thon but to enjoy every moment of it rather than concentrate on the pressure of finishing it. So just have fun, Aleksandra. :)

Btw, while you relax in between reading, please find time to chat with the rest of the Team #CheerFalstaff on twitter using the following hashtags:

  3. Unofficially cheering you on here. This is my first year participating and I have 3 books I want to try to make a dent in. We will see how it goes. Kind of hopping around to other posters right now to get a feel for how others are doing things and setting up posts.
