I have to admit that this was the only theme that I thought I won't be able to make a top 10 list. The reason for that is that I rarely swoon over the characters in the books I read. I can like them a lot, even love them as characters, but not crushing on them. Nonetheless, I still managed to make a top 10 list.

So, My Top 10 Book Boyfriends in 2010 are:

  1. Bones (Halfway to the Grave / Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost) - yeah, I finally started the series, and I'm already loving it & now I understand why everyone love Cat & Bones as a couple ;) and Bones is really great character, too, not only hot & yummy ;)
  2. Cricket Bell (Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins) - I wish there was a boy next door like him when I was in my teens :) From the beginning we meet him in the book, I've just wanted to hug him & never let him go! He was just so lovable, sweet, loved the way he dressed, he was great character & I just loved everything about him & yeah, I swooned over him :) I wouldn't enjoy this book as much as I did if it wasn't for him.
  3. Etienne St. Clair (Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins) - I finally read this book this year, and of course, I had to include Etienne St. Clair. I wouldn't say I swooned over him, what I loved more were the interactions between Anna & him: the friendship, the chemistry,... everything. And yeah, he was hot and all that, but he was also really fun character & I love when the characters make me smile :)
  4. Trevor (Geek Girl by Cindy C. Bennett) - This book was one of my favorites this year. Trevor is amazing character (probably too good to be true) and I loved him. I woudn't say I had a crush on him (as I said above, I rarely have book crushes), but I do have a crush on Jen & Trevor's love & relationship. It wasn't perfect, but I loved the way it developed. I had a smile on my face for most of the time while I was reading this book & the reason for that was the yummy & sweet geek Trevor!
  5. Terrible (City of Ghosts / Downside Ghosts series by Stacia Kane) - Terrible was definitely something unexpected. He's not beautiful or hot or handsome from the outside, but from the inside OMG. When I started the series, I definitely didn't expect to love him as much as I do now, but I started to like him & then to love him more & more with every book as we get to know him :)
  6. Beck (Forsaken / The Demon Trappers series by Jana Oliver) - I've read only the 1st book so far, but I already love Beck as a character. You know how sometimes from the beginning you know there's something about that character that you'll absolutely love & he becomes one of your favorite characters in the book or probably your #1 favorite? Well Beck was that kind of character for me in this book.
  7. Packard (Mind Games / The Disillusionists trilogy by Carolyn Crane) - The same thing I said about Beck above is the same reason why I loved Packard, too :) There was just something about him: he looks strong, yet heart-breaking & sweet, although he doesn't seem like that & I couldn't help but be at his side & to feel for him :) The same goes for Beck above, too :)
  8. Ty (Cinderella: Ninja Warrior by Maureen McGowan) - I loved Ty. From the beginning we meet him in the book, I loved him. He's just so fun & sweet & funny & really charming & one of my favorite characters. Was I swooning over him? Well, yeah, after all, he is the prince ;)
  9. Kerrick (Touch of Power by Maria V. Snyder) - I won't go into details what are some of the things I loved about him (I wouldn't want to spoil the book for anyone - after all, it's new), although just as Beck & Packard, I liked him a lot from the beginning & after that I started to love him as a character & of course - I was on his side, too.
  10. Lucien (The Darkest Kiss / Lords of the Underworld series by Gena Showalter) - I finally started the series this year & so far Lucien is my favorite of the Lords (not counting poor Paris, because his book will be published in 2012, and what happened to him in this one did broke my heart a little). Won't go into details, but I loved him as a character, I loved his & Anya's story (I think I even cried a little) & plus - he smells of roses... Who wouldn't want that? ;)

  1. OMG KILL ME WHY.. HOW.. Why didn't I think of Packard and Terrible???????

I mean, I cursed myself for forgetting Etienne the whole freaking day, but TERRIBLE? I'm a person not worth anyone's attention or love. Don't check out my post, it's a huge disappointment.

I need to add Terrible. At least in the intro.. Oh ffffuuu..
