Ok, so I've been staying away from read-a-thons for the last couple of  months or so, (something I never thought I will do), but I'm excited about participating in one once again, and it's one of my favs, a WWRAT, and I was already signed up, so I thought, why not? It's time! ;) And to be honest, it's one of the best read-a-thons, I always have a blast, and this time it's the 2nd Valentine edition, and last year was awesome, so yeah, I'm in, and I'm hoping I'll read a lot, especially because this one is quite long one :)

Book Spine Poetry Challenge:

"13 to Life
Before I Wake
Stardust Of Poseidon
Ashes on the Waves."

Update #1:

So far the read-a-thon hasn't been going as good as I would've liked, but that's on me. At first on Friday was awesome, read a lot, than I read some on Saturday morning, but nothing after that until Monday afternoon. So, yeah, life got in the way of course ;) after which I got sick :( so I'm not really feeling up to reading right now :( Hopefully I'll get better soon. I read only one book so far Tesla's Attic (my review), and around a 3rd of Shadowdance. And I just did the Book Spine Poem Challenge, but I'm hoping to do the rest as well, and maybe join the Twitter Party tomorrow, if I manage to stay awake.

Mad Libs Challenge:

1. Bones (Night Huntress series)
2. Ready (Ready Player One)
3. Ocean (The Ocean at the End of the Lane)
4. Screaming (The Screaming Staircase)
5. Went (Where She Went)
6. Armageddon (Discount Armageddon)
7. Gods (American Gods)
8. Ashen (Ashen Winter)
9. Graveyard (The Graveyard Book)

Dear  Bones,

I have ready but I have not had the ocean to tell you. When I first screaming your story, I went in armageddon. I hope you and I will someday be  gods. I would love to give you an ashen graveyard for Valentine's Day.

Yours Truly,
Aleksandra

Update #2:

Since my last update, I totally strayed from my reading list, and read books that weren't on my planned list. I read The Magician's Nephew by C. S. Lewis, Bright Before Sunrise by Tiffany Schmidt, and the novella Definitely Naughty by Jo Leigh
I'm still hoping to finish the 2 books I started this read-a-thon: Shadowdance by Kristen Callihan & The Missing Rose by Serdar Ozkan
I also participated in the first Twitter Party, and I actually participated in the rest 4 mini challenges, I actually did them all :)

Wrap Up:

Yay, I did it, I managed to reach my goals :)

I read 6 novels & 1 novella, completed all 5 mini challenges & participated in the 2 Twitter Chats!

For the read-a-thon, I read:

    1. Thanks, Alexa. I'm actually hoping to read only half of these, and since I'm a moody reader, I need my options ;)
