Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Favorite Books I Read In 2012 - part 2!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists.
Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

So this week is a freebie theme, so last week when I was making my list of favorite reads in 2012, I decided to make a part 2 this week.

So, My Other Top Ten Books I Read In 2012 (in no particular order) are:

1. The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly

This book was so amazing & full of awesomeness!

2. One Foot in the Grave by Jeaniene Frost

Another book full of awesomeness - awesome story, awesome characters, awesome action & the awesomeness of Cat & Bones!

3. Alif the Unseen by G. Willow Wilson

Another amazing read you wouldn't want to miss.

4. What I Didn't Say by Keary Taylor

One of my fav contemporaries in 2012! It was just so much more then I expected it will be, so I can't recommend it enough!

5. Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine

Yeah, I finally read Ella Enchanted & now I know why everyone loves it :) It was amazing!

6. If I Die by Rachel Vincent

I read all the SS books this year, and although I loved almost all of them, the one that got a special place in my heart is If I Die, although Before I Wake is a close 2nd ;)

7. Keep Holding On by Susane Colasanti

Keep Holding On is an amazing & beautiful, yet heartbreaking book about bullying. Also, it has one of the most perfect titles :) I can't recommend it enough!

8. Divergent by Veronica Roth

No explanation necessary! I finally read this one this year, and of course I loved it. I still need to read the sequel, but hopefully in 2013, it's just sitting there on my shelf unread ;)

9. Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake

Anna Dressed in Blood was great & the thing I loved the most about it was Anna - she's one kickass ghost & I loved her as a character.

10. The Pearl Wars by Nick James

The Pearl Wars was full of awesomeness & I loved it so much!

Ok, so I just realised I can probably come up with another 10 for list #3 lol but I won't. I did not have this much of trouble last year :)

What theme did you chose this week?

Leave me your TTT links!

  4. I love Ella Enchanted, and am so glad you loved it as well. It was the first fairytale retelling I ever read, and it hooked me on them!
