WWW Wednesdays #12

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?
This weekly meme is being hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading!

What are you currently reading?

I'm really enjoying both of these books!

I'll soon finish The Maze Runner  & I'm in the middle of The Amaranth Enchantment which is really cute & fun book!

What did you recently finish reading?

The last book I finished is Too Good To Be True by Kristan Higgins, which is enjoyable & fun romance!

What do you think you’ll read next?

I've already started 24 Hours, but in the moment I did, I realised that I've watched the movie that's based on it, so I've put it aside for now, but I'll continue reading it later.

Also, I've been planning to read A Darkness Forged in Fire for a long time, so now I'm thinking to read it next! I'm in a mood for fantasy!

  1. I just finished The Maze Runner and was somewhat disappointed by it, the I appear to be in the minority who wasn't completely taken by it. I look forward to hearing your opinion. I'll probably put a review up once my blog is working again (it's currently lost in the blogosphere)

  2. Hi, Simcha! I finished The Maze Runner & I have to say that I agree with you! I liked it, but I was expecting a lot more! It wasn't one of the books that I found it hard to put it down, but overall enjoyable & I'll probably read the 2nd book, too!

  4. Hi, Juju! I already finished it & I like it, too! Couldn't sleep last night, so I stayed awake until 4am reading it after posting this few hours before! The prince was funny to me from the beginning! Peter, too! It's really cute fairytale! Now I'm looking forward to Secondhand Charm! It sounds like that'll be just as cute & fun!

  5. I also enjoyed reading it but it just didn't match me expectations after all I've heard of it, particularly not as a dystopic novel. I was also bothered by the fact the there were details added that didn't seem to have a purpose. Such as the fact that none of the boys are given any explanations when they first arrived, which I thought there would be a reason for, but there wasn't. And the characters also seemed kind of flat to me. I'm not even sure if I'm that interested in reading the sequel. Kind of disappointing. I was hoping for something on the level of The Hunger Games.
