#98 - "The Last Dodo" by Jacqueline Rayner

Summary:
The Doctor and Martha go in search of a real live dodo, and are transported by the TARDIS to the mysterious Museum of the Last Ones. There, in the Earth section, they discover every extinct creature up to the present day, all still alive and in suspended animation.
Preservation is the museum's only job collecting the last one of every endangered species from all over the universe. But exhibits are going missing...
Can the Doctor solve the mystery before the museum's curator adds the last of the Time Lords to her collection?

My rating: 4/5

My thoughts on the book:
Overall, I really enjoyed it! The first half of the book was average, but the 2nd half was great, which saved the book! All the action was in the 2nd half! Also, there were a few times  (especially in the 1st half) that the story was from Martha's first-person point of view, which really annoyed me, but even with that, really enjoyable Doctor Who book!

#7 - "The Stone Rose" by Jacqueline Rayner

Summary:
Mickey is startled to find a statue of Rose in a museum - a statue that is 2,000 years old. The Doctor realizes that this means the TARDIS will shortly take them to Ancient Rome, but when it does, he and Rose soon have more on their minds than sculpture. While the Doctor searches for a missing boy, Rose befriends a girl who claims to know the future. But then, the Doctor stumbles on the hideous truth behind the statue of Rose - and Rose herself learns that you have to be very careful what you wish for...

My thoughts on the book:
I loved this book! It was just like watching an episode from the tv series. Entertaining & funny. This is the first Doctor Who book I've ever read & I enjoyed it a lot! I think that the author did an excellent job at capturing the characters. If you're a fan of Doctor Who, than I definitely recommend it!
