Top 10 Books I'm Looking Forward to in 2016:

#10 - The Duke's Accidental Wife (The Dukes of War #7) by Erica Ridley

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/26163752-the-duke-s-accidental-wife

Ever since I read the first book in the series featuring the sister of the Duke of Ravenwood as one of the MCs, I wanted to read his story. He's such a great character, and a romantic at heart, so yes, I can't wait. And finally, the wait will be over. This will also be the last book in the series, a series that was delight to read, with great & lovable characters, so I can't wait!

#9 - Skyborn (Thrones & Bones #3) by Lou Anders

There isn't a cover yet, but this will be the final book in this great adventurous & imaginative MG fantasy series!

#8 - Stars Above (A Lunar Chronicles Collection) by Marissa Meyer

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25689074-stars-above

This year I got behind on the series, first I didn't read Fairest, and yes, I haven't even read Winter yet, so I think I'll do a re-read & read of the complete series in 2016, and still I'm dying to get my hands on Stars Above, even though I need to catch up. A collection with more stories in one of my fav series with my fav characters, as well as the previous great stories - yes, please! And that cover - it just might be the most gorgeous one yet in the series!

#7 - Red: The True Story of Red Riding Hood by Liesl Shurtliff

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25885733-red

I loved both Rump & Jack, so of course I can't wait to read Red. A book set in the same world, with another unique twist on fairy tale characters & fairy tales...can't wait! And there's just something about Liesl Shurtliff a.k.a her stories!

#6 -  This Savage Song (Monsters of Verity #1) by Victoria Schwab

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/23299512-this-savage-song

Another amazingly imaginative book by the brilliant Victoria Schwab? Of course I can't wait for it...

#5 - The Darkest Torment (Lords of the Underworld #12) by Gena Showalter

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25801632-the-darkest-torment

To say that Gena writing Baden's book was a surprise will be an understatement. But, from her explanation, and the description, I'm actually really excited about reading this book, and learning more about Baden, and see where the series storyline will go next.

#4 - The Burning World (Warm Bodies #2) by Isaac Marion

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16148435-the-burning-world

I absolutely love Warm Bodies! If the author decided not to write a sequel, I would've been fine with that, but at the same time, I'm really looking forward to it, because from the description The Burning World sounds all kinds of awesome!!!

#3 -  The Visitor (Graveyard Queen #4) by Amanda Stevens

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/17204332-the-visitor

Ok, so, every year this book has made it on my list, but it seems that finally 2016 will be the year it will be published! I know the author had been through lots of stuff, and even when I didn't know the reasons about her not writing, I actually didn't mind, because I knew it was coming (ok, I was hoping), and eventually will be here, so yes. Now we have cover & description, and a release date, and I'm excited about it as much as I was some 3-4 years ago. Just so awesome & unforgettable creeptastic series!!!

#2 - Chaos Choreography (InCryptid #5) by Seanan McGuire

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/21806701-chaos-choreography

Finally, Verity Price is back! I love the InCryptid series, and the characters in it, and the world itself, but I especially love Verity as a character, and after the 2 books featuring her brother Alex, it's time for her again, and to say that I'm excited about it, it will be an understatement! I'm dying to read it!

...and my most anticipated 2016 release...

#1 - Flamecaster (Shattered Realms #1) by Cinda Williams Chima

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/23253083-flamecaster

To say that I love the Seven Realms series, it will be an understatement. I adore everything about it. Probably my most fav YA epic fantasy series, filled with amazing & lovable characters, one of those rare series that seems to get better every time you re-read it, and with one of the best series finale. That's how you wrap up a series! I can't even say how many times the final book had destroyed the love I had for a series,  even as far as I didn't count them as a fav anymore, so I adore those that make me love the series even more ;)
Anyway, I was dying for a spin-off, but in one of the other realms & with other characters, so now that my wish has come true, I'm dying to read it! And from the description it sounds awesome, and it's set a generation later, and because of the family connection one of the MCs has, I'm hoping for glimpses of some of my fav characters :) So, yes, my most anticipated 2016 release is Flamecaster!
