High Summer Read-a-Thon: Start + Wrap Up!

The High Summer Read-a-Thon is hosted by Michelle a.k.a The True Book Addict at her read-a-thon dedicated blog Seasons of Reading!

The read-a-thon started today, July 2oth at midnight CST and ends on Sunday, July 26th at 11:59 pm CST.

For more info & to join the read-a-thon, visit the post HERE.

For me & my time zone, as always, that means it starts on Monday, July 20th at 7 am & ends on Monday, July 27th at 6:59 am.

The Twitter hashtag (as always) is #HSreadathon.

My Reading Plans:

I'm hoping to finish my current read Black Water by D. J. MacHale & to read Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson, too. Actually, I'm hoping to read more, especially because I'm participating in 2 read-a-thons at the same time, but this is the beginning, and in the end, wherever the mood takes me...

I'll update this post with my progress!

Wrap Up:

I finished reading Black Water & I read 5 to 1 by Holly Bodger. Black Water was amazing, best book in the Pendragon series, and 5 to 1 was great, and unexpectedly a beautiful read.

I didn't read as much as I hoped, but I still did good, especially because I didn't even read every day (probably every 2nd day), so it was a good read-a-thon!

I hope everyone had a great read-a-thon!!!

  2. Glad to have your joining us again, A! I do hope you're enjoying the read-a-thon so far. I've been busy with the last days of an out of town guest visiting so I'm really behind visiting blogs.

  4. Your 12th readathon, that's awesome! Gaiman is one of my favorites too. I read Trigger Warning stories between my books today. #TeamSycamore
