Top Ten Tuedsay: Books I Feel As Though Everyone Has Read But Me (part 2)!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists.
Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

So, this week's theme is actually Top Ten Tuesday Rewind, so although I did this theme in September, my 1st post here, I read 5 of those books since then, so I decided for Top Ten Books I Feel As Though Everyone Has Read But Me (Part 2).

My Top Ten Books I Feel As Though Everyone Has Read But Me (Part 2) are :

1) The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

Ok, this one is actually a book that I don't want to read & probably never will. Why? I just don't, I don't really have a reason, and I usually love this type of books, but Dan Brown is an author I just don't want to try.
2) Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I think everywhere around the blogosphere either has already read this book and is talking about it or is reading it right now and again talking about it, so yeah, I feel like everyone has read it but me ;)
3) Anything from John Green

I know, what I'm waiting for? I mean, I watch his & Hank's vlogs, he's quite fun & funny, so probably his books are like that, too & everyone loves them, but I just haven't gotten around to them, and I know I'm missing out, but it is what it is, but hopefully this year I'll change that ;)
4) The Darkest Powers trilogy by Kelley Armstrong

I know, I know, another series that I should've read or at least tried, and still haven't. I'm planning to finally read it this year ;)
5) Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

6) Unearthly & Hallowed by Cynthia Hand

7) Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta

8) Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

9) Die for Me by Amy Plum

10) Everneath by Brodi Ashton

I could go on & on, especially if I've included the adult titles I feel like everyone have read, but I decided to go mostly with YA ;)

  1. I so relate to you. I have so many books that I hear about and just don't get to. Good list.

  2. Shatter Me in on my list of books that I really meant to read but somehow missed. I couldn't get into Daughter of Smoke and Bone, but I plan to give it another try since it seems everyone but me has read it and loves it! So many books, so little time! http://wp.me/pzUn5-118

  3. I keep seeing Obsidian everywhere, too, and will probably end up buying a copy very soon. Jellicoe Road was absolutely amazing; I highly recommend it!

  4. I haven't read the da Vinci code nor The Daughter of Smoke and Bone yet, but OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS you simply MUST read a Marchetta novel! They are so. Effing. Amazing. Jellicoe Road is my personal favorite and I could probably gush and gush and GUSH about that book all day, but I will refrain. :)
