Title: Storming the Castle
Series: Fairy Tales #1.5
Author: Eloisa James
(read on March 13th, 2012)
My rating: 4 of 5
Summary:
Not every fairy tale begins with a prince or a princess…
When Miss Philippa Damson runs away from home to Pomeroy Castle,
she is far from a princess…she’s an extraordinary beauty
with ordinary dreams — to live a quiet life as a nursemaid.
Jonas Berwick
, rakish son of a grand duke,
has vowed never to wed.
He offers Philippa everything—but his hand in marriage.
Philippa has stormed the castle, but now she faces an impossible Challenge:
To win the love of a prince, she may have to risk everything that makes her a lady.
Will the sacrifice of her honor be too high a price to pay?
My Thoughts on the Book:
This fun novella is connected to the first book in the series A Kiss at Midnight. I love the fact that Eloisa James gave Wick his own Happily Ever After, because he was one of my fav characters in that book. Anyway, I really liked Philippa. From the second we meet her, she made me laugh so much, so she was really fun character who decided to stood up for herself & take matters in her own hands. Their romance was so sweet & I enjoyed reading it. Of course we meet Kate & Gabe again & the unforgettable Princess Sophonisba - so funny, I think that was my fav scene. Anyway, nice addition to a great series :)
