It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is being hosted by Sheila at One Persons Journey through a World of Books.
This is a great weekly event where everyone can keep track of the books finished last week & the books planning to read this week!
This week I've finished the following books:
- Kisses To Go by Irene Peterson - I really enjoyed it! It was really fun!
- Too Good To Be True by Kristan Higgins - I enjoyed it! It was fun, too!
- The Maze Runner by James Dashner - I liked it, but I'm little disappointed. I guess expected more from it!
- The Amaranth Enchantment by Julie Berry - I really enjoyed this one! It was really sweet & cute & fun!
- On the Steamy Side by Louisa Edwards - I really loved this one! It's the sequel of Can't Stand the Heat & now I'm looking forward to Just One Taste!
I've just started Nightmare Academy by Dean Lorey, so far it's fun, so I'll probably read that one & I'll also continue reading some of the other books I've started!
So, what are you reading this week?
Tell us now here!
You had a great week. My list is here

Sorry you didn't enjoy Maze Runner. I really liked the book and am looking forward to The Scorch Trials. I will have to check back with you this week to read all your reviews as many of the other books you read this week are new titles to me. Have a great week
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you've had a good week for reading. I can never get through that many books.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you were disappointed by The Maze Runner! I really enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteHere is my Monday!
I love all the different things you've read this week :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Jan, but you should know that I'm really behind with my "reviews" - around 30 books behind ;)
ReplyDeleteNikki-ann, from all 5 books, only On the Steamy Side I started & finished last week. The other 4 I had started the week before & last week I just finished them :)

I liked The Amaranth Enchantment too. I usually enjoy fairytale retellings but I thought this had a unique twist on Cinderella.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read The Maze Runner. I am not sure if I would like it even though it has received a lot of positive buzz. I did like Incarceron.
Have a great week!
Like the sounds of Nightmare Academy - enjoy!
ReplyDeleteNightmare Academy sounds interesting! :)
ReplyDeleteMy What are you reading? is here.
Happy Monday. :)

Oh, dear! The Maze Runner is on my TBR stack. I hope I enjoy it. Have a good reading week!
ReplyDeleteI love Kristian Higgins books. Every time I stop by here I find more books to wishlist :) Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if it will help, but Maze Runner was conceived as a trilogy. So, depending one what you felt was missing, it may be in book 2.
ReplyDeleteAnna Marie, I know it's trilogy, but I kept reading great reviews for it, so I ended up disappointed! It was too simple & predictable & the ending wasn't with a big cliffhanger, I'd call it a mild one that wasn't a surprise at all. I liked it, but it was nothing special & although I'll probably try the sequel in the future with hope that it'll get better, I won't be expecting it eagerly! I guess I like more complicated stories & with more excitement!
ReplyDeleteWow, you finished a lot of books! Great job!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading. =O)
